Lend me your ears and I'll sing you a song, And I'll try not to sing out of key. Oh I get by with a little help from my friends -The Beatles.

I've been thinking a lot about friends lately. I'm so glad to have the friends I have today because they're always there to make me laugh, make me feel better, and an added bonus is that they're not into sex and drugs and partying. None of which I'm interested in. And if I was friends with people like that I would probably be pressured to join them, even though I really don't want to do that stuff. So I'm glad I don't have friends like that. I've also been thinking about my past friends. Whether its preschool or last year, I've gone through my share of friends. We either aren't friends because we just grew apart, or a stupid fight that broke us apart, at some point they were a huge part of my life. Some of them I wish I could just talk to again and we could reunite and start all over. Some I'm glad I'm not friends with. Like in fourth grade I had two "best friends" which I later found out they thought I was annoying and I wasn't actually their friend.. OKAYY. Whether my friendships ended on a bad note or not, I'd like to somehow thank each and everyone because they made an impact on me somehow. Either I learned from their mistakes or looked up to them and their actions. Some times I just want to go up to my ex-friends and slap them in the face if they're being stupid, because that's what they need. Or give them a hug because they are in need of either a hug or a friend. Or just talk to them to remind them of good times. I don't know. I liked being little like in kindergarten when the only reason you didn't like someone was because they took your crayon without asking, or like a grudge still being held on my someone in my class to someone else, stealing their swing at recess. True story :P And I'd like the thank all my friends now for always being there for me and just being great friends. If we ever, for some reason, grow apart of stop being friends, just know I appreciate you :] Ever since New Years I wanted to write a thanks to all my friends after reflecting over the year. Some day I'll get to that :] And it makes me angry how some people have clear as day relationships that aren't working and should just let it go so they can get better friends. Or stop dealing with them. Because some people just aren't meant to be friends. Now I'm thinking about the popular girls. Half of them hate each other yet act like best friends, why? Very frustrating. Everyone should be themselves and hang around people they actually like.
